      Collections Agent Interview

      Feb 13, 2018
      Anonymous employee
      Mississauga, ON
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at RBC (Mississauga, ON) in Jan 2018

      Interview

The interview was in 3 stages. The first stage was submitting your resume. After your resume has been submitted and has passed their evaluation, you will be contacted by a recruiter through email, congratulating you and asking you to proceed to the next stage which is the online assessment. If you complete the assessment successfully, you would be contacted again by a recruiter proceeding you to the second stage which is a phone interview. If the phone interview goes successfully, you would be proceeded to the 3rd stage which is a face-to-face group interview with other successful applicants. We were 9 successful applicants. If you are successful then you be given a probationary offer on conditions that you pass the back checks. If you are cleared, you will be emailed by your recruiter confirming you to start on the due day.

      Interview questions [2]

      Question 1

The phone interview questions were behavioural based. She asked me to tell her about a time when I went out of my way to satisfy a customer, describe a time you had to meet a customer half way, how I handled an irate customer.
      Answer question

      Question 2

One thing we were all asked to do at the group interview was sell. We were all given products to sell to the hiring manger. The whole idea of doing that was to see how well we were able to probe and ask relevant questions.
