Interview
Telephone interview was rather easy and straightforward, questions mainly about CV and few technical. Got an invitation for the assessment centre two days later.
The assessment centre had 4 parts - two interviews with Directors/MDs, individual investor pitch presentation based on previously prepared materials and group exercise.

Phone interview lasting around 30 minutes. The interviewer is an associate in IB. She is really nice and patient, but my friend says her interviewer was just like unhappy all the time, so it really depends. I did an internship in Research division in an investment bank last summer, so my interviewer just asked me a lot of questions regarding my previous internship. Others are quite standard competency and motivation questions.

It was a phone screening where he called me and asked me to walk him through my educational background and prior work experience and how it made me a good candidate for the finance industry. Then we moved on to talking about why I would specifically want to work with RBC as opposed to another company, and then also we moved to some techicals.
