Awkward phone interview. Set up time for interview with HR for exec of the relevent dept. Recieved the call and it was clear from the start the exec didn't read my resume prior to the call. Didn't seem know what questions to ask. Looked at my first major (soft-liberal arts) "How do you feel this applies to the job? This position is fairly technical..." My second major (math-quant) and my extensive intership experience in tech roles weren't mentioned. Explained how I actually did fit based on other experience, but follow up questions to the first still wanted me to justify how that major was related to the position. Asked if I had any questions about the company, but when I asked questions for more information on the software provided the exec acted as though I had just asked the most inappropriate questions ever. Exec refused to answer and dodged the questions. Exec concluded the interview saying they were interviewing other candidates and would be in contact with those selected to move forward. Wasn't selected.
