Interview questions [1]
Question 1
When you have a large portfolio of projects under you, how do you know when a project is healthy or at risk? What indicators do you look for? What information do you request from project managers / task leaders, and how do you track it? Follow up question (just as important) -- Give a specific example of what you have done when you have identified a project risk. What was the risk? How did you identify it? What did you do about it?

Interview
Initial phone screen with a headhunter/screener.
Then face-to-face with a company big wig.
Then some quality screeners/interviewers. Appears that the people that come in at the end might be the most knowledgeable and receptive to what the job actually is. Unfortunately, it appears ONLY the big-wig is the one making the hiring decisions, so if he does not like you, you are done. You might even impress the final people, but does not matter if the big-wig has any issues with you.
