I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at RH (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2018
Interview
This is a very lengthy interview process, not for the faint of heart. The senior designers give you a design challenge toward the end. Hard to say what they judge your skills on, they don't give you a lot direction but are looking for something specific when they review it. Everyone is nice but it is a little cult like.

Had three interviews - two with the store manager and one with the regional manager. Overall casual feel, but certainly making sure that the person can handle the job when they interview and don't sugar coat.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at RH (Red Bank, NJ)
Interview
The process was relatively easy. Something felt very off though. I don’t think they were actually hiring for the posted position. Also their beliefs are very strange. One of the beliefs they made me read during the interview is about if you work at RH, your job is your life.

Very long, 4 interviews plus a presentation. Each interview around 1-1.15 hours. You need to dress to impress and learn about their values. They care about you as a person and expect you to talk about family, background, and your free time.
