I was contacted by the RM for this position and asked me to come in ASAP. I agreed as the opportunity was exciting to me at the time. I took time off work to go and meet with them two days back to back. It felt more like just a conversation than interview questions. The second day I met with the whole team and they seemed very uptight, as if they didn’t care to meet me. It seemed like they were just trying to figure out if they could “vibe” with me or not. I stayed for about 2 hours just speaking with them. I was told they would be following up with next steps as the interview process was extensive. I reached out to the RM thanking her for the time and looking forward to hearing next steps. (I forgot to mention she didn’t even have a background in design or luxury brands and was only with the company for about 6 months). She said she would let me know the following week. However, I never heard back from her and she reposted the same job a week later. Wasted my time for a job I didn’t even apply for. Overall, left a really bad impression on the team and the company as a whole. Would not recommend as you’ll probably be dealing with an unprofessional recruiter and be called in to take hours out of your day just to be turned away.
