Interview
I had a Zoom interview with a recruiter. Initially, it comprised standard questions such as why I was seeking new opportunities and what I'm seeking in new positions. Then, despite the recruiter admitting to not knowing much about technical matters and relying on questions/answers prepared by their technical team, they started asking me technical questions. I wonder, does this imply that deviating from their script spells rejection?
Finally, they informed me they would provide feedback within a couple of days. However, a week passed with no communication. I followed up with an email requesting updates, but received no response. Extremely unprofessional. I invested time and effort in preparing for and attending the interview. While I'm completely okay with them choosing a candidate with more experience or better suited for the role, I expect at least an email informing me of the outcome.

Interview
Weird and unfair experience at and after the very first interview with a specific Senior Talent Acquisition Manager. The interview meeting invite email clearly mentioned (in bold letters) that as part of this interview - "We will also be going through some technical questions that will give us an understanding of your knowledge with C# .Net, Web & Database topics" - for which I had prepared as well. But during the actual Interview, there were just high level talks, very few casual questions on experience and NO technical questions asked at all, just a "Thank you for talking with us" and said that they would mail me the next steps in a couple of days. Then a couple of days later, received a Rejection email. I mean why waste candidate's time and efforts if you are not serious about giving them a fair chance to let them move to next rounds, and just filling your timesheets. Unprofessional and fishy to say the least.

Interview
I applied online and had a first-round screening about two weeks later, conducted over a Teams meeting. It was a mix of general and technical questions, all asked by the HR representative. He was upfront about not having a technical background and mentioned that he would simply ask the questions and pass along my responses to the technical team for review.
At the time, I wasn’t well prepared — it was the first interview I had since restarting my job search, so I was a bit caught off guard. That said, it was still a good experience overall.

Interview
First interview was with a talent specialist. We talked about my experience, and it was quite casual and easy.
Then he went on to ask a series of technical questions that he had been provided by the tech team, with my answers being transcribed to be sent to the engineering manager. I found this part weird at best.. the person on the other side of the Zoom call had no idea what I was talking about, so it was hard to gauge if I was answering the question sufficiently or not, or when was enough. My advice: try to practice your answers to these questions, as it's hard to answer when it's not in a conversational type setting.
