RPM Technologies (Canada) Junior Software Developer interview questions

The interview had 2 parts, a portion where you talk about your resume, and another section with some general technical questions. The interviewer is usually a technical team lead. Read the job description and prepare for questions regarding the position you're applying for.

Received an email to go in for an interview. Interview consisted of HR questions and a written test. I've posted the written test questions at the bottom. 1) Write the FizzBuzz program. (Google it, pretty easy) 2) What is the difference between an instance and a object? 3) What is a transient variable? 4) Write a program that throws a nullPointerException and catch that exception 5) Difference between a static method and a non-static method HR questions were more like: why do you want to become a developer? What makes a successful developer? Describe a recent project you did, etc. In the end, they were looking for someone who's able to work independently, as there will no "hand-holding" in this company. Also, someone who is very knowledgeable in the financial services.
