I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at RTX in Oct 2018
Interview
Applied online. A few days later I was asked to come in for a local on-site interview. I was interviewed by three people, including one who was a first year in the LDP. It began with "walk me through your resume" and then I was asked behavioral questions. Then I had about ten minutes to ask them questions.
A couple days later, I received an email to attend the final round of interviews at Raytheon's headquarters near Boston. They flew us out and put us in a nice hotel. The first day was a business formal networking event and dinner. Although those events were more relaxed, they were certainly part of the decision-making process. The next morning there was a breakfast, followed by five back-to-back 30 minute interviews. All candidates were well-qualified, so the process was more to see how each might fit into Raytheon's company culture, how they work in teams, etc. These interviews were either behavioral, or a normal conversation, it depended on who you spoke to.
After the conclusion of the interviews, we had lunch. After lunch was the case study. We were put into groups of 3-4, and given an hour to prepare with our group. People came in and out to observe. After that, we had 15 minutes to present and answer questions. I'm told they wanted to see more how we work in a team than the conclusion we came to for the case study.
After that ended, we said goodbye and went straight to the airport.
I received an offer over the phone two days later.
It was a relatively straightforward HireVue and then a Super Day interview where you're given a case study to present a solution for and answer to a panel. The interview was a mix of questions about your case study/your considerations and behavioral questions. Additionally, you had to submit the pre-work (the slides) of your presentation a day before the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Why did you choose this solution (basically what was your reasoning for the case study and if x,y,z where different what would you change/how would your solution change)?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at RTX (Dothan, AL) in Oct 2022
Interview
Virtual Interview with a panel that required preparation ahead of time as well as a panel interview with standard questions. There was also a team exercise portion where you were asked to complete a presentation with other interviewees to see how you worked in a team environment
The interview Process was straight forward. It consisted of a 5 part online interview where a question was presented and you were to record yourself answering the question. Never heard anything after this step
