Interview
Networking friend in the program passed my resume along to a Hiring Manager. I received an initial phone call semi-interview and was told to apply to the position online. After applying I received a second phone interview, this one much more technical about specifics of the position and resume relevance. Was invited for a final in-person interview talking about position-relevant experience and school work. Received a phone call from HR and was offered the position. Entire process took a few weeks.

Question 1
What experience do you have with radar/sonar or signal processing?
Was introduced as behavioral but was fairly technical. Asked a few technical questions about subjects of your choice. Discussed past experiences from my resume and what I would do in other technical scenarios.
Described the work done at the location. Then asked several unrelated technical positions to the job title. Asked about software engineering experience and principles unrelated to job description or responsibilities.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at RTX (Windsor Locks, CT) in May 2025
Interview
the interview was very laid back and conversational, mainly had typical behavioral questions with no technical questions. the interviewer was clear about when i would hear back and gave enough time to ask questions near the end.
