I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at RTX (Tucson, AZ) in Nov 2008
Interview
My interview happened during the time of big hire at Raytheon Missile Systems. Therefore, I was not asked many technical questions. Just basic ones that were easy to answer.
I was asked if I ever had to step in as a team leader, and if so why. You have to answer yes on this type of question, and have an example to explain. Furthermore, they asked me if I had any experience with C/C++, and to explain certain things from my resume. It was all easy.
However, now days my interview experience may not be truth for everybody because interviews are easier when companies want to hire more people.
Good luck.
