I was reached out to by a recruiter for a Senior Software Engineer position. The first interview was a phone call with the recruiter discussing the position and their technology stack. It was standard questions asking if I was familiar with the technology they used. The recruiter seemed friendly and genuine. The second and last interview was a 60 minute interview with engineers split between technical and behavioral. I never got a chance to do the second interview because I was ghosted by the recruiter, no rejection or response back when asked if the position was filled or not when I saw the job posting was gone. It seems like a streamlined process which these days is refreshing. You just need to determine if you are willing to waste 30 minutes for the initial screening and potentially be ghosted.
