Initially, the interview process was great in that I spoke with some great teams. However, the length of the interview process by way of a newly hired HR consultant was simply unacceptable! I applied in Jan 2023 and had an interviews in Feb 2023. I did not hear anything until 03/24/2023 and it was this conversation with the HR consultant that made me think twice and accept another offer. A candidate’s time is just as valuable as the employers and to not have that considered to this magnitude was a huge red flag for me. Subsequently, due to previous hiring mistakes candidates had to pay the price. I was told by the HR Consultant that he was intentionally holding up the hiring process because of other new hires that didn’t work out. I would never advise an employer to take more than a month with their interview process. My experience with the teams was great but I strongly feel the hiring process was an extreme negative and takes away from any positive experience I had interviewing! I was then told by the end of the week from 03/24th he would be making a decision. Although I had already decided to take another offer I wanted to see how long it would be for their final answer…Let’s see 04/15th???? I had to reach out and then was told they chose the other candidate. I dodged a bullet as the hiring process is solely a reflection on the organization internally and not the candidates. I would just caution others that if they know their worth and value their time you may want to be mindful of this experience.
