The initial stages of the process moved relatively quickly. I cleared the initial recruiter screening and the second-round technical/hiring manager interview with positive feedback. Following that, I was asked to complete a comprehensive case study assignment. ​I put significant time and effort into preparing and submitting the case study, only to receive a rejection shortly after. While I understand that hiring decisions are competitive, it is incredibly disappointing to invest that level of unpaid, practical work late in the process without moving forward or receiving meaningful feedback.
