I initially had a positive experience with the recruiter, who was very helpful in resetting an assessment when I ran into technical issues. I appreciated the support early on.
However, the process became frustrating due to what appeared to be ongoing system issues. After completing the assessment and taking the time to record responses, the system did not reflect completion. I reached out again for assistance but did not receive a response.
While I understand that hiring processes can be busy, the lack of follow-up—especially after completing a time-intensive assessment—was disappointing. Even a brief update or acknowledgment would have made a significant difference in the candidate experience.
I applied and was interviewed in October 2021. Process is typical with most other companies, an initial phone screening interview followed by an informal zoom interview with dept. head. It was simple and informal. I was not selected on the basis that my experience was not relevant; however, as I submitted my resume and went over it during the initial phone screening, it seems that could have been established and not wasted any one's time before the second interview.
