I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Ramp in Nov 2025
Interview
I submitted my application and I immediately, within 2 minutes, received another email to complete a CodeSignal Assessment within 3 weeks. The Assessment was a Data Structure & Algorithms question (String) that was medium level and I had 45 minutes to complete it. I did not complete it in time and I did not move to the next round. I never spoke to a recruiter during the process. Submitted Application > CodeSignal Link in Email > Failed Assessment > Received Email saying Ramp did not want to move forward.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Leetcode Style Medium Level String DSA Problem (CodeSignal)
There was a practice assessment that I would consider an extremely easy String problem that was nothing like the actual String assessment in terms of difficulty.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Ramp
Interview
Very standard question. Interviewer didn't communicate how much time I was allowed to code in the first place. I finished the main part and the second part is straightforward. I was asked to stop coding after 45min passed, though I think I can finish the next part in a short amount of time.
I interviewed many iOS engineers and passed interview in similar format at other companies. I got a feeling that they are testing out the interview questions and process, as it seems no one is dedicated to mobile dev work.
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We appreciate you interviewing with Ramp and sharing over your feedback.
We definitely could have communicated better about how time would be allotted during the interview and we will bring this feedback directly to the team. We want to ensure expectations are clear throughout our interview process and so one feels like they are in the dark.
Thanks again for your time here.
