Interview
I was referred by an external recruiter.
An internal recruiter then emailed me to schedule a phone call. The recruiter asked about my background and interests, and said we'd be proceeding to a technical interview.
Another internal recruiter scheduled me for an interview with an engineer.
On the day of the interview I had an unexpected delay and was not able to get there in time. I emailed the internal recruiters 15 minutes after the start of the interview apologizing and asking to reschedule. They responded with a link to their scheduling software that afternoon.
The next morning, the link didn't work. I emailed again - no response. I emailed my external recruiter - she heard back two workdays later (Friday-Tuesday) that "they aren't going to reschedule. Seems they were upset you didn't show up and then emailed after the interview had started instead of before giving them some notice."
Seems pretty childish to me, but make your own judgement.

Interview
I had a great time with Ramp's technical interview. They skipped the typical leetcode problems and instead gave me a practical web-crawling challenge that actually related to real work. The coding session felt relevant and let me show actual engineering skills rather than memorized algorithms. It was refreshing to work on something that seemed like it could be part of their actual product.
The interview process takes forever.
Recruiters or HR ghost you after the initial call. No update whatsoever.
So I guess nothings really fast as they say. Slow hiring process.
I had given initial technical round many times and it’s difficult to get the response

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Ramp in Sep 2024
Interview
Applied online, recruiter call, followed by a coding and system design interview. Everyone I talked to was great and generally I would rate the overall experience positive. The reason I gave it a neutral is because I just got a simple email instead of a phone call letting me know that I didn't get the job because they filled the role. May be personal preference but when I've done a loop I expect to get a phone call.
