Passed the crazy little test they have you take. Recruiter reached out to me after; she was extremely nice to speak with! Unfortunately I got a rejection and I bet it was because of an extremely weird question she was forced to ask me with what felt like a gun to her head. She said the CEO wanted everyone to have AI fluency, and asked "how are you with AI" on a scale from 0 to 10. Anyone that knows about AI beyond a complete surface level would ask several follow-ups, which I did, but I was nonetheless pressed for an answer. I said "5" because I use it often in daily life, but as a frontend engineer I am not involved in actually training or implementing LLMs or other kinds of models. I strongly suspect this number is what counted me out; but between you and I, the reader, can you think of a brighter red flag? Condolences to the recruiter and anyone currently employed at Ramp.
