I applied in-person. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Ramsey Solutions in Sep 2021
Interview
5 phone call and zoom interviews. Senior director of marketing & executive director of marketing. Fairly easy. Some odd questions. After the 5, my recruiter told me they were 80% sure they want to hire me. Naturally my husband and I started making plans to move to Nashville.
They bring us to Nashville for a half day of interviews. Had 7 interviews - back to back. Wasn’t even offered a bathroom break (lol I should have asked… but come on!) All conversations felt good. My husband and I even went on a coffee date with the exec director, his wife & senior director. Loved that personal touch.
So at this point - after things going well, my husband and I got our hopes up. Got through TWELVE interviews. Found an apartment - ready to move. Only to get a phone call and was told “not everyone on the team was on the same page about you joining the team”. That was it. 49 days of this process - & that’s all I got. For a company who has a core value of “excellence in the ordinary” don’t you think they could give them their potential team members a reason? After all that time, and getting their spouse involved.
Had a great experience, learned a lot. I think there was something missing in the interview process on the leadership team. Don’t lead me on - not give it to me - then not give me a reason. Do. Better. Ramsey.
I applied online. I interviewed at Ramsey Solutions (Nashville, TN) in Nov 2020
Interview
The first interview was just a basic 30 min HR interview, from there I had 3 interviews with different people from prospective teams. They asked a range of questions about personal life and work experience. Definitely very religion based and they weave that into each conversation.
