After applying I was asked to schedule an interview within a couple days. The first interview was via teams and consisted of basic interview questions about both professional and personal experiences. Was then told we would be moving forward and was asked to schedule a second interview with the director of the department. That interview was also via teams. 2nd interview was more direct, discussing day to day duties of the job and making sure that I was aware of the responsibilities of the position. I was then told I would be hearing back shortly about next steps. 3 days later I received an automated denial email from a “do not reply” email address. When I reached out to the recruiter for an explanation as to why I was turned down after 2 successful interviews I was ghosted. Extremely unprofessional and a waste of time.
