HR Manager emailed me about my resume that was posted on Indeed.com and she invited me in for an interview. She told me to arrive and ask for her, based off this, I thought I would be interviewing with her. Upon arrival, I was made to sit in the sales area and nobody really greeted me.
Finally, the HR Manager introduced herself and told me I would be interviewing with the Managing Director and walked me into the conference room and left. I felt a little caught off guard.
Managing Director portrayed himself as open minded (he was not) and fun (very strict management style) and the job would be fun and commissions would flow. He was a master at telling you wanted to hear and made it difficult to turn down the job offer. In reality, the job was telemarketing and the work environment was not what he described in the interview. He is truly a master of deception.
I talked with him for over an hour and got an offer a day later via email.
