A hiring process in 3 stages including a screening call with HR, a call with the hiring manager and head of dept (who actually didn't show up), and a presentation with an interview panel. HR call focused on background and industry fit, call with hiring manager was more technical and experience focused. However, during that call it became obvious that there was a discrepancy between what was advertised on the job listing and the actual job.
