Interview
I had an employee referral. Screening call was casual and focused on my resume. Then an interview with hiring manager in which the interviewer asked basic interview behavioral questions. Then no response for two weeks and then I was notified I was not selected with any explanation.
Multi stage interview process with an initial HR screening call and presentation combined with data analysis. Then panel interview and questions on presentation and data analysis case study style format
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Real Chemistry (Austin, TX) in Apr 2022
Interview
Spoke to the recruiter who gave me more insight on the role and company. Moved onto the next round with the Hiring Manager. Felt like a rapid round of questioning on why should they hire me. For an entry level position, this seemed out dated. The process was confusing at times as well. The recruiter reached out to set up a time with the Hiring Manager for us to meet, but included other people on the email chain who I would not be speaking with and left a note for them in the email. Additionally, I never got a solidified answer on company culture. Overall neutral interviewing experience. Some external factors could have made my case an outlier.
