I got an initial phone interview with HR, was given a quick information dump about the company and was asked about three or so surface questions. I had an opportunity to ask questions but the person on the other end told me they had only been with the company for two months and couldn’t answer my questions. This made the interview pretty short since I had done my own research about the company and since it was a short interview I try not to wasting time asking questions to answers that are already available (eg. news, benefits, revenue, company size etc). I wasn’t sure where to go with a response like that so it’s of no surprise that two days later I got a rejection email.
