The interview consisted of basically talking about my resume, my projects, and then me asking the interviewer some questions. I wasn't asked a single technical question. There was no coding question, no probing of my projects or my previous work experience to see if I actually knew things, so I'm not sure what they made their decision off of - personality? On the other hand, other students I know got asked technical questions, which makes me think my interviewer was either unprepared, didn't care, or just was not a technical person (although their job title certainly made them seem like a software developer). All in all, a confusing experience, especially because there was no technical element to the interview. I've seen smaller companies have better interview standards and processes than realtor.com
