I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Realtor.com (Richmond, BC) in Sep 2015
Interview
Increasingly formalized with aptitude benchmarks with a pretty thorough vetting of former employers and educational CV. Took about 2 months from initial contact to starting. Having said that, they really have their eye out for born-to-do-this natural salesmen with the social skills to thrive in what is essentially a room full of engaging extroverts.
Their talent seems to lie in avoiding talent without integrity and moral fiber. They hire great engaging people -very much reminds me of the type that big pharma used to court, before that industry whithered when the Canadian government tightened the rules about marketing to doctors in Canada in the late nineties.
Anyway, they'll call you in and chat, but really like to hire from internal referrals from current employees. An internal referral will almost always guarantee a serious look if not a shoe-in at Move.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
There's no silly 'sell me this pen' or anything like that. There is a telephone interview where they look for a natural ability to engage over the phone and lead a conversation. If you haven't had hard core - numbers-driven sales positions before and haven't worked in a call center environment before they want to know what you think that would be like for you and ask you why you think you'd be good at the job, which is essentially selling software and financial products (buyer leads) to realtors all over the US for 8 hours a day and making up to 60-80 calls per day. There's no right answer and for the people that fit with this job, the time flies by and the calls never feel forced or pressured.
I applied online. I interviewed at Realtor.com in Feb 2026
Interview
There is a three part interview process (recruiter, manager, director.) They have you do a role play in second and third interview. They asked fairly simple scenario questions and questions pertaining to self growth and sale methodology.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Realtor.com (Arizona City, AZ) in Apr 2023
Interview
Went through 4 interviews. It took weeks to get my offer, which made me worried. I was please with my salary offer though and have been pleased with the company!
Easy interview, pretty standard process. They want someone who can sell and not be afraid to pick up the phone. Asked a lot about past dial and call metrics and expectations.
