Title: Confusing Interview Process and Lack of Communication (Unprofessional)
I encountered a frustrating experience with the interview process. Initially, I was told to anticipate an interview with the hiring manager. However, I have never met nor spoken to him, making it puzzling to hear that he enjoyed meeting with me based on another recruiter's email response.
The process seemed disorganized from the start, with a scheduling conflict leading to a reschedule that never materialized. Despite my relevant skills and experience, I received no follow-up or clarification about the next steps. This is the first time I've ever experienced this type of behavior. Additionally, this lack of communication and transparency has been disappointing and concerning.
It felt like some favoritism or bias might be at play, which is disheartening. I hope this company can address these issues to improve its recruitment process and ensure all candidates have a fair and professional experience.
Spoke with a recruiter. I then interviewed with the hiring manager who seemed completely uninterested from the start. Was 7mins late and did not apologize. Didn’t seem to care to listen to me. Pretty rude. Said I would hear back the following week. Got a follow up the next week that it would be another week. Then nothing. I emailed and they responded a month later saying sorry, went with someone else. Honestly, based on the interview process I feel like I dodged a bullet.
