After submitting my Resume, I received an email from Red Hat HR requesting to schedule a time to do the initial phone interview (screen). This first call went over some positions available at RH, discussed general expectations of a consultant (tons of travel, motivation to learn, cultural fit, etc). Additionally, we went over my background, what type of position I'd like to fill, and offered a lot of time for me to ask questions and make sure I'm comfortable with proceeding. At the end of the call, the HR rep schedule an on-line skills assessment.
