I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Redfin (Dallas, TX) in May 2016
Interview
Sent in resume via application site and it took about two days set up a phone conversation. What I wasn't aware that the recruiter wasn't locally based (they were in Dallas) and that I'd be performing a phone interview. The recruiter read off from a list of questions and didn't have the slightest clue about real estate and wasn't able to apply any critical thinking to the questions. I was grilled on one particular question where I couldn't provide any specific examples but offered to provide multiple references to back my answer and they just couldn't move past it. They repeated the question multiple times. So basically I was stone walled behind this recruiter who knew zero about real estate who claimed to send my answers to the "local team" to for review. I didn't receive any follow up from anyone at the company other than an automated one sentence reply a week later telling me I was rejected. Overall it was a pretty insulting interview and process.

The process was very simple and straightforward. They asked a series of questions and you had to answer them and record the video then submit it. There were about five questions to answer.
