I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Redfin (Irvine, CA) in Nov 2017
Interview
I applied through my university's website. They contacted me after about 2 weeks after my application to set up an over the phone interview. The interview lasted an hour. The interviewer started off with a behavioral interview, wanting to know what projects I had done in the past and what were roadblocks and successes with those projects. He then moved on to a technical interview question. Then, he spoke about the work culture at Redfin and what positions are departments were available. Then we did a second technical interview question and closed with any questions I had for him.

Got to the first interview and got cut after. Just asked basic behavioral questions. Wasn't too difficult, but there were probably applicants that gave better answers. Interviewer was nice and kind.

There was a phone screening, then zoom interviews. I was asked behavioral questions, and I did well on it. There were technical rounds, and I passed, standard technical questions. Also spoke to the hiring manager for the skills and cultural fit.
