Interview
I applied online and passed the initial tech screening which consisted of talking about my experience, background, projects, classes and one DS&A question. The engineer was very nice and supportive during this interview.
I heard back after one week and was invited to an onsite interview. The onsite interview consisted of lunch with two members of the team that I was interviewing for and three technical interviews (30-45min each). Lunch was great and the Redfin employees I ate with were very personable and informative. The technical interviews were average to slightly difficult as I was asked a lot of follow-up questions (what if you can only use constant space, what if the input was 1,000,000,000, how many bits would this be, etc.).
I heard back very quickly. The recruiter and engineers involved in this process were all very supportive and they made my interview experience the best I've had so far.
