Initial contact with the recruiter and hiring manager went well. Completed homework assignment. Onsite was four hours straight, no breaks, met with five people. Each person asked the same questions, very annoying. Clearly, they weren't getting the responses they desired. I wore a jacket, clearly overdressed, interviewers wore sneakers, faded jeans and t-shirts and not in that hip downtown way. One person was remote and we spoke via telepresence as she works from home 3 days a week. However, the hiring manager said that occasional work from home is ok, not on a regular schedule. Also, they changed the job and title the day before my face to face and said they moved someone internally to take on the position. Although, I saw the job with the new title posted at a higher salary rate. Whatever, it was good practice, I will refine my responses and do better for the next opportunity. If you're a millennial, you'll fit right in.
