I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Redfin (Boston, MA) in Sep 2011
Interview
The initial phone interview is very informative. HR keeps the convo going without the same old boring questions. You feel like everyone is trying to relate, rather then a measured rating system.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Redfin (Tulsa, OK) in Jan 2015
Interview
It was all very thorough and all thoroughly corporate but in a good way. I had a phone interview with HR that lasted about an hour. Then a week later l had a video interview with Regional Manager then two more videochats with local broker and regional agent. This took place over about a month. Everybody was very very nice HR is extremely organized to a fault and even made sure that I was downloaded to the video chat sites and responded to every email even during the week of Christmas. I have nothing to but good things to say...even though l did NOT get the job.
