I applied online. I interviewed at Redfin (Chicago, IL) in Aug 2020
Interview
I applied via Glassdoor, submitting resume. Received and e-mail response from a recruiter to invite me for a 30 minute phone interview with the recruiter. It was basically a screening interview to review my resume, interest in Redfin, real estaet and technology. Then scheduled for 2 45 minute Zoom meetings with 2 different managers. Used CBI (Critical Behavior Interviewing) questions.

Interview
I interviewed briefly with a recruiter and then the Support Agent Manager I’d be working for as well as a long-term Support Agent on the team. The one-on-one interview with a manager took place the same day as the on-screen interview with a current support Agent. Both were informative and helpful except that the on-screen interview was with an out of state agent where support agents are making a considerably higher amount of money, thus leading to a false expectation. The initial conversation with a recruiter was also misleading due to the fact that I was given an average support agents salary without being informed I was interviewing for the lowest paid state and would make considerably less than average. It was a good interviewing process, with great people, but the income expectation was way off.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Redfin (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2019
Interview
I was interviewed by two managers from the California team. They were initially great during the interviewing process and I thought I had a company I could potentially get promoted. Unfortunately, now being here and giving top results and being a top agent, I realize I was sold snake oil. The manager eventually showed her true colors by being rude and overall unprofessional at times
