I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Redfin (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2015
Interview
I was contacted approximately two weeks after I applied online via redfin.com. The recruiting team was very prompt (e.g. scheduling the interview, relaying the decision on whether I would move onto the next step of the interviewing process).
My interviewer was quite friendly. The interview took about an hour and consisted of some resume questions and what I thought of the Redfin website (specifically any thoughts I had on how it could be improved). The rest of the interview consisted of some coding on colabedit with 10 minutes set aside for any questions I had for my interviewer.

Very practical interview where they asked the ingesting MLS data points and how do we map it on out system. The interviewer was very kind and if youdont know about specific he will take time to explain.
Got to the first interview and got cut after. Just asked basic behavioral questions. Wasn't too difficult, but there were probably applicants that gave better answers. Interviewer was nice and kind.

Question 1
Tell me about a time where you disagreed with a teammate, and how did you resolve it?
There was a phone screening, then zoom interviews. I was asked behavioral questions, and I did well on it. There were technical rounds, and I passed, standard technical questions. Also spoke to the hiring manager for the skills and cultural fit.
