Initial phone call with recruiter- discussed current position, and several behavioral questions . Specially around team, DEI etc. 1st virtual on-site with a Sr.Eng Manager. He started the interview asking me to ask him questions. We spent 35 mins out of an hour talking about the questions that I had. Last 25 mins were spent on behavioral questions he asked me around team,resolving conflict ,DEI etc I felt I did good, but got a rejection after couple of days. When requested feedback on areas of improvement, the recruiter got back saying, they won’t be able to give any feedback.

Contacted by 3rd party recruiter, followed by a 90 minutes phone screen by hiring manager, followed by another 30 minutes phone screen by the same hiring manager. The interview was not technical but around how you operate as a software manager. My perception was that even though RedFin has an interesting business model, it is overstaffed for what it needs to build.
