I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Redfin (Seattle, WA) in Oct 2015
Interview
I applied for the new RAD agent training program that is slated to start in February 2016. The first part consisted in applying for the position through their website. Once I was given the go-ahead, I was scheduled for a one-way video interview. This was the first time I ever had this type of interview. The company states that this interview is NOT in lieu of a regular in-person interview, rather just a process to select the "best candidates" for the next level. I tried to prepare as best as possible for it not knowing what questions would be asked of me. There were five questions and I was given one minute to answer each although one can stop the process in order to prepare the answer. Two tries were allowed although only the last video-taped answer given counted.
Basic questions, and experience…. She asked me a few questions, then basically tried to figure out if I was a right fit for the job and company. Then I waited for a week and I got the offer!
The interview process was pretty standard. I spoke to a recruiter over the phone and then had to send in a video answering a few questions. I was called back within a few days.
It begins with a 30 minute phone call with employee to go over the basics, and have a Q&A. Then there is a follow up call with a manager to go over specifics, followed by an offer package.
