Screen with recruiter, interview with hiring manager, and two technical screens.
Fantastic to meet the team - recruiter and hiring manager were great! I thought the SQL technical screen went very very well and enjoyed chatting with the interviewer. Could really see myself working well with this person in a professional setting.
I didn't enjoy the Python screen as much. Was given a question on writing a function for an anagram which I did successfully but the program wouldn't compile (I even checked my code after the interview and it was fine). The interviewer also couldn't seem to judge the code on its own merit but whether the output would compile successfully and I didn't think she was all that confident or well-versed in Python (respectfully and quite candidly). Behavioral portion of this interview was fine but I didn't jive well with this interviewer since her style seemed a bit choppy and unresponsive with long pauses/deliberations after I gave a response - and, again, the coding portion was disappointing since I got it right from the code standpoint but I wasn't being judged on the code in and of itself.
All in all great to meet everyone and I can tell that this is a great company. Very responsive recruiter and hiring manager was awesome (can't emphasize this enough). Would love to interview with this company again since I think the people and culture are amazing.
