I applied online. I interviewed at Redwood Credit Union (Napa, CA) in Apr 2025
Interview
Interviewed with recruiter and SVP. Both were pleasant. I did spend almost 4 hours of my time between the interviews and preparing for them. I also moved my schedule around to accommodate a second round on rather short notice. Was told by both that I would get feedback within a week. A month has gone by with zero follow up. For a company that appears to score highly on employee engagement, the lack of follow through is disappointing and as someone who has been in the talent acquisition space for many years, engagement with candidates you hire AND don't hire should be handled respectfully.

Question 1
Leadership style questions and managing a function
Had 2 rounds - one with the recruiter and the other with the hiring manager. Both were pleasant. While I have no issues with not being considered for the role, it is unprofessional to have no follow up from the company after being informed by both parties that I will hear back in a week. Candidates, especially those of us who are actively employed, use up a lot of much needed time dedicated to scheduling the interviews and the prep work that goes into them. For this process, I dedicated about 4 hours. A simple one-line email telling me they are moving on would have been appreciated. Candidate experience says a lot about your professionalism or value for our time.
