1. Written Test (Pen and Paper Round)
The first round was a pen-and-paper test conducted on campus.
It included questions on:
Aptitude: Logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and basic problem-solving.
Technical Concepts: Fundamentals of programming, OOPs, and basic C/C++ concepts.
Short Coding Problems: Small logic-based programs that tested understanding rather than syntax.
Only the shortlisted candidates from this round were invited to the next stages.
2. Technical Interview (TR)
The shortlisted candidates attended the Technical Interview at the company’s office.
The interviewer focused on assessing technical depth and problem-solving ability. Key areas covered included:
Core programming concepts (C, C++)
OOPs principles, inheritance, polymorphism, and encapsulation
Data structures and basic algorithmic logic
DBMS basics and SQL queries
Discussion on projects and internships, with follow-up questions about implementation and technologies used
Candidates were also asked a few scenario-based questions to test practical thinking and debugging skills.
3. HR Interview
The final round was the HR interview, conducted to evaluate communication skills, confidence, and cultural fit.
Common topics included:
Self-introduction and background
Strengths, weaknesses, and career aspirations
Questions about relocation, teamwork, and company knowledge
General discussion about academic journey and motivation to join Regal Rexnord
