I applied online and got a response within a week. I set up a time with a recruiter and asked questions about my background experience. Then about a week and a half later had a second round interview with the payroll manager. Before the second interview had to take a personality assessment. Again asked about background, tired to be conversational but did not ask much questions. I sensed the manager was not actually trying to hire anyone, just trying to do the “job” before leaving.
Lastly, I didn’t get the job but did not give feedback to why, if a company says they don’t use an assessment as a reason to hire someone yet don’t give feedback gives the candidate the reason to that’s the only reason aka not a cultural fit. After a second round, a candidate should be given feedback to the reason why.
As I read the review below, it sounds like we had a similar experience.
