After a phone screen I was flown to Chicago for a series of on-site interviews. Four rounds of on-site interviews were followed-up by a short tour of the work space. The first interview session was a two-on-one session with leaders from the department for which I was interviewing and a department that worked closely with it. The questions were pre-designated and repeated for each of my previous employers. The second session was hosted by the person whom would be my direct manager and was a “knowledge check” oriented meeting. The third session was hosted by an employee that I would be collaborating with from another department and was focused on culture fit. The final session was an interview quality control check, benefits presentation, and final wrap-up.
