This was the most unprofessional interview process I have ever attempted to go through. I was referred by a friend and had a phone screen scheduled. I received an email canceling it and was told the role was "no longer available." A few months later, I followed up as I was still interested. I was then accidentally CC'ed on an internal email about me between the team stating that I had been said no to previously because of "some culture fit concerns" but now it sounded like they were "unfounded." I was then called back and asked to come in. I had never once spoken on the phone with any hiring managers before this. This was extremely concerning to me as they appear to be making personnel decisions based on "culture fit" without speaking to the applicant or based on their qualifications, as was made clear by their email. Overall, this was a really bad experience.
