The initial interview with the recruiter went well. She was friendly and engaged in the conversation. Everything seemed to flow really well. I was supposed to interview with two hiring managers as the next step. Only one was present on the call. He seemed slightly distracted or disinterested, as if he was just going through the motions; and the conversation was very dry and felt forced. His internet connection also cut in and out multiple times, so it was difficult to follow along. It almost felt as though he had his mind made up before the call ever took place, so it felt like a waste of time. I felt like ,maybe he was having a frustrating day or ready to move on to his next task; and our interview was not a priority to him.
