I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Rev in Apr 2016
Interview
Same as the others, short grammar test, brief paragraphs about your home town and then a transcription test. I did not see the Style Guide I've been reading about so maybe that is where I messed up as I transcribed everything I heard. I wasn't sure if I should include the "ums" and "uhs" as well as the slang and how to spell it. I wish the Style Guide was more obvious because I'm an excellent typist and have transcribed many things for years and years. Although I should say this approximately 2.5 minute recording was not very fun to transcribe.
It was easy. Just a short audio file. and also a grammar test. Mostly choice answers. You'll wait for the results , some times it takes just a short period of time.
Easy process to get in as long as you trust your dialect and no human interaction at all. All you do is to pass the Transcription part and English MCQ.
You need to pass a toting test and submit a sample of your work to assess your writing and language proficiency skills. Then once you pass, if you are accepted, you will be able to get trained and have your work graded and paid for.
