I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Rev (Sydney) in Aug 2017
Interview
There were three sections, from what I remember:
1) Typing Speed Test - A simple section where there is a given text, and a blank box where you type out the shown paragraph as fast as you can in a minute(?) and you can start whenever you're ready.
2) Grammar Multiple-Choice Questions - Pretty straightforward, was a bit tricky for me. Read on forums that you'd need to get 100% on this part to get through the application, so take your time with this one.
3) Transcription Test - This is where you actually get to transcribe an audio file. As long as you follow the Rev style guide very carefully, this shouldn't be a problem.
It was easy. Just a short audio file. and also a grammar test. Mostly choice answers. You'll wait for the results , some times it takes just a short period of time.
Easy process to get in as long as you trust your dialect and no human interaction at all. All you do is to pass the Transcription part and English MCQ.
You need to pass a toting test and submit a sample of your work to assess your writing and language proficiency skills. Then once you pass, if you are accepted, you will be able to get trained and have your work graded and paid for.
