I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Rev (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2015
Interview
There is an information check, a quick overview and then a style guide presentation. Following that there is a test transcription and then the option of submitting a resume. The style guide is vague and not specific - nor does it really make a lot of sense. I was rejected for making errors, when, according to their own documents, I did not make any at all. Do not attempt unless you are a mind-reading transcriptionist.
It was easy. Just a short audio file. and also a grammar test. Mostly choice answers. You'll wait for the results , some times it takes just a short period of time.
Easy process to get in as long as you trust your dialect and no human interaction at all. All you do is to pass the Transcription part and English MCQ.
You need to pass a toting test and submit a sample of your work to assess your writing and language proficiency skills. Then once you pass, if you are accepted, you will be able to get trained and have your work graded and paid for.
