Interview
After answering some basic multiple choice questions for grammar and typing a short essay to prove our literacy, I was given a video test to transcribe within 96 hours. After that, came a second and a third video but this time each video was given a deadline of 48 hours.
After about 25 minutes of submitting my final video test transcription, I was sent a generic email saying I didn't make the cut of their "rigorous standards." That befuddled me because their review samples weren't far off from what I produced. They do virtually nothing to help guide the individual trainee, besides a couple of Google Slides documents that are disorganized -- and its 'readibility' is difficult, ironically. The two other video guides are completely useless as it presents only the basic functioning of the Quill transcribing system.
Even before I submitted my transcriptions, which included a clip from 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart', I went to YouTube to view clips on Comedy Central's channel (who Rev says they work with). There I noticed that the closed captions on said test video was completely different from what Rev talked about as their "standard."
Also, don't bother emailing them with any questions about the process. There is a guy named Scott who apparently is a one-man show at their SRT division, and he never responds to emails even after we call up Rev's toll-free number and are specifically told to email him at the recruiting address.

It was easy. Just a short audio file. and also a grammar test. Mostly choice answers. You'll wait for the results , some times it takes just a short period of time.
Easy process to get in as long as you trust your dialect and no human interaction at all. All you do is to pass the Transcription part and English MCQ.
You need to pass a toting test and submit a sample of your work to assess your writing and language proficiency skills. Then once you pass, if you are accepted, you will be able to get trained and have your work graded and paid for.
