Well don't feel bad. I was rejected for an IT job there because "I didn't have a LinkedIn account". Yes, that is exactly what my phone interviewer stated! Maybe I don't want to be trolled or value my privacy or don't have time for social networks when I'm off from work. I personally think they don't know how to interview - worse phone interview process ever.
