Been contacted for a first interview with a recruiter via Hangout. The recruiter was nice but she seemed uninterested or bored, she was late and was looking at her phone during the interview, did not ask many questions, gave me a take-home test. The take home test is a data analysis exercice related to their KYC issues but what it is really is a joke, it’s pointless, can be done in Excel and completely unrelated to the role I was interviewing for frankly. Had another interview a week later with the CRO, he was also more than 15min late, and was still struggling to find a room to do the interview in during the next 5 min (startup struggles I guess?). Received the decision (negative) around a month after the interview, so the wait at that point was too much.
